Nakhaya Ntini Retires From International Cricket

A South African beer company that sponsors the team provided free beer to the cheering crowd and the rowdy patrons responded by singing and dancing in honor of their great bowling hero.

This praise, of course, has a lot to do with that winning smile. Ntini was a formidable opponent, who ran into and threw the ball tirelessly and always with fierceness and ferocity. But, not far from his face was a pleasant smile. Makhaya was always ready to see the funny side, but this did not stop him from competing with his talent. This is what made him loved and the players who love him, as seen in the hug Ntini received from the Indians on his way from Durban the other night.
