One Day International

Limited-over cricket was introduced in England in 1963. Internationally, the first limited-overs game was played in 1971. One match is played in one day. A bowler can play more than 10 games in a game. In 1975, a new competition called the World Cup was established. All the members of the International Cricket Council gathered at one place to play a series of matches against each other. The winners of the tournament were named World Champions.

The tournament is played every two years and twenty-twenty world champions are crowned. 20 international teams have played in the tournament so far.
