Once the place of peace and stability in Africa, my beautiful region of Southern Cameroons is currently experiencing great suffering, seemingly worse than the genocide in Rwanda in 1994: our people are being destroyed like cockroaches. Almost two years have passed and, I believe, the UN and the AU have not shown any real commitment to mediating the crisis. It is well known that France is pulling the strings to keep our country full of rich people and natural resources, into slavery.
In the present circumstances, it is not wise for the Grand Masters to show up in the corridors of the palace of Unity, and dine with, and congratulate, a president whose sleep is questionable; a man who, since the coming of the present crisis, has refused to shear the sheep. This problem, which has become so bad that it has become a civil war, is no longer an internal problem. It is a global threat to peace and stability because Cameroonian patriots around the world and well-wishers of Africa are concerned. It is no longer an internal matter because the government has violated international human rights law in every respect.
What should we do? There is a need for immediate fire suppression on both sides. I strongly condemn all thugs and thugs who are taking advantage of this opportunity to rob and harass peaceful civilians. A peaceful election can only be done by a third party because the people of southern Cameroon have lost all confidence in the Biya government. Given the isolation of the AU and the UN, the USA is in a position to mediate at this time. In particular, the case of Southern Cameroons has been the subject of discussion on Capitol Hill with ample evidence of the violation of human rights and the defeat of the people of Southern Cameroons. As the problems are increasing day by day, will the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the US Congress look into the issue of the Southern Cameroons? Honestly, can my friends in the US suggest anything else we can do to encourage the US to get into a bloody crisis? Are the people of Southern Cameroons a minority compared to the people of Libya, North Korea or Syria? Please help us, our people are dying!
