The History of the FIFA World Cup Football Trophy
There are many trophies awarded for various sporting events today, however one of the most popular is the FIFA World Cup. However, what most people don’t realize is that the FIFA World Cup Trophy awarded today has been in existence since 1974. Prior to that, the nations that won the game were awarded the Jules Rimet Trophy instead.
